Passport and Visa Information
A valid passport is required for travel into, and out of, Greece. Your passport MUST be valid for six (6) months past your scheduled date of departure from Greece. The name on your passport MUST exactly match your airline tickets or you may be denied boarding, asked to pay a fee, or asked to purchase a new ticket by your carrier. A valid passport and/or an EU resident card is required at hotel check-in.
A visa may be required for your travel. Please contact your local embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date information. Be sure to check not only your destination but also your connecting cities/countries for transit-visa requirements. Note that all non-U.S. and Canadian passport holders must hold either a valid visa or an ESTA (for Visa Waiver Program) to transit through the United States. All non-U.S. citizens planning to travel or transit through the United States should visit travel.state.gov for additional information.
Airport Check-In
With increased security measures at airports, it is recommended that you check in at least three hours prior to your international departure and two hours prior to your domestic departure. You must present your government-issued passport upon check-in.
Personal Identification
It is highly recommended that you carry a photo ID with you at all times. This may be a passport, driver’s license, or national identity card.
Luggage Allowance
Luggage restrictions vary depending on the carrier. Please consult the airline for specific luggage restrictions and applicable fees.
Carry-On Luggage
You are generally allowed one carry-on piece plus one personal item per person. Strict security measures have placed restrictions on liquids in carry-on luggage. All liquid items must be less than 3.4 ounces and must be placed into a single quart-sized Ziploc bag for screening at the security checkpoint. Please be sure to check guidelines and policies prior to your trip as they may vary from country to country.
We recommend that you place the following items in your carry-on luggage rather than in your checked luggage:
Credit Cards
Major credit and debit cards are accepted at most hotels, shops, and restaurants in Athens. Visa and MasterCard are more widely accepted than Discover and American Express.
Telephone Calls
Please check with your phone carrier regarding long-distance phone and internet service charges. Roaming charges will apply to many plans, so please be mindful of this. International roaming costs or additional fees incurred for personal calls will be considered a personal expense. Internet service is available at the resort, and it is recommended to use an internet-based calling service while in Greece.
Program Rules
Personal Expenses / Expense Policy
During the registration process, you will be asked to provide your credit card number for personal expenses that you may incur during the program. Expenses such as laundry, telephone, gift shop, bar charges (including the in-room mini bar, lounges, and restaurants), and any meals or snacks taken apart from the sponsored functions will be at your own expense.
Expenses incurred above and beyond the Adobe Club program inclusions (i.e. additional excursions, lunch while sightseeing) are the participant’s responsibility and not eligible for expense reimbursement. Travel incidentals (i.e. airport parking, mileage, etc.) incurred at Platinum Club are subject to reimbursement according to the attendee’s manager and should be in accordance with the Adobe Global Travel & Expense Reimbursement Policy. The Platinum program/cost center is not responsible for other travel incidentals.
Personal air extensions or purchased buy-in activities will be billed from the agency Enterprise Events Group, Inc. on your credit card statement.
